Job summary

Wasillachamber in Alaska is seeking a Provider Outreach Strategist to expand provider knowledge of dementia resources, strengthen referral pathways, and improve access to dementia services across urban, rural, and Alaska Native communities. The role involves travel across the state to deliver trainings and educate partners, with occasional evenings and weekends.

You will build relationships with healthcare providers and state agencies while tracking outreach activities for reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in public health, social work, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of outreach or community engagement experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Alaska's rural and urban communities and Alaska Native cultures.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid Alaska driver's license and ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Develop culturally relevant dementia education materials for providers and partners.
• Build relationships with medical providers, tribal health orgs, and state agencies.
• Deliver trainings to strengthen provider knowledge of dementia supports.
• Conduct community outreach with Alaska Native populations using community-informed approaches.
• Track outreach activities and contribute to data collection and reporting.
