Job summary

Great Lakes Inter-Tribal Council (GLITC) is seeking a Dementia Care Program Coordinator to support planning, implementation, and evaluation of the dementia program workplan. The role involves project management, staff coordination, training tribal communities in Wisconsin and Michigan, and frequent travel.

The position is full-time and based in one of our Wisconsin or Michigan offices. A bachelor’s degree in public health, science, or healthcare administration plus PM experience is required;

Qualifications

• Two years of project management experience or training.
• Experience working with elder care, Alzheimer’s disease, or dementia public health programs.
• Understanding of cultural, social, and systemic factors affecting elders in Tribal communities.
• Ability to travel frequently and interact with Tribal Governments and not-for-profit agencies.

Responsibilities

• Grant writing, compliance, and reporting.
• Outreach with tribal communities.
• Dementia education, presentations and training.
• Organizes meetings and community listening sessions.
• Preparation of reports for Tribal Nations and funders.
• Administrative duties as assigned.
• Ability to travel frequently.
• Other duties as assigned by the Program Director.
