Job summary

One You Love Homecare of North, South, and West Houston is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical home care to older adults. The role includes companionship, personal care assistance, daily living support, and light housekeeping, helping clients maintain independence and dignity in their own homes.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, meals, safety, mobility, and transportation, with flexible scheduling to meet client needs.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in caregiving, home care, or a related field is a plus.
• State certification and license in good standing, if applicable.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license, proof of insurance (if required for client transport)
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with daily living activities, including personal care and mobility.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
• Maintain client safety and report changes in condition.
• Observe infection control and follow care plan protocols.
• Provide transportation for appointments and activities.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Remind clients to take medication.
• Clock in/out and document all tasks.
