Job summary
One You Love Homecare of North, South, and West Houston is seeking compassionate caregivers to support older adults at home, helping maintain independence and dignity. You will provide non-medical assistance, companionship, and daily living support in clients' homes with a focus on safety and personalized care.
The role offers flexible scheduling as client needs vary, including days, evenings, weekends, and overnights, and includes opportunities for professional development and a supportive team
Qualifications
- Prior experience in caregiving, home care, or a related field is a plus.
- State certification and license in good standing, if applicable.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license, proof of insurance (if required for client transport)
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care and mobility.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
- Maintain client safety and report changes in condition.
- Observe infection control and follow care plan protocols.
- Provide transportation for appointments and activities.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
- Remind clients to take medication.
- Clock in/out and document all tasks.
