Job summary

One You Love Homecare of North, South, and West Houston is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical in-home support to older adults, helping them maintain independence and dignity.

Responsibilities include companionship, personal care, daily living assistance, meal prep, light housekeeping, transportation, and documentation. Flexible schedule with varied shifts to meet client needs.

Qualifications

• Prior caregiving experience is a plus.
• State certification and license in good standing, if applicable.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license, proof of insurance (if required for client transport).
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with daily living activities, including personal care and mobility.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
• Maintain client safety and report changes in condition.
• Observe infection control and follow care plan protocols.
• Provide transportation for appointments and activities.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Remind clients to take medication.
• Clock in/out and document all tasks.
