Job summary

LeMans Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented Demand Planning Support Specialist to assist demand and supply planning operations in managing planning data, supplier follow-up, inventory health, and replenishment activities. This role collaborates with the Demand Planning & Forecasting Lead to keep forecasting, inventory strategy, and business planning running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Supply Chain, Operations, or Logistics.
• 0–2 years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, purchasing, inventory management, or planning operations.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate updates to lead times, MOQs, lot sizes, and replenishment settings.
• Monitor supplier past-due POs and customer backorders.
• Partner with suppliers to expedit e or de-expedite orders based on inventory needs.
• Support recovery plans for shortages and delayed shipments.
• Track inventory health including excess, obsolete, slow-moving, and shortage inventory.
• Prepare KPI reports covering supplier performance, inventory health, backorders, and service levels.
• Validate planning data and coordinate corrections with Technology and Master Data teams.
• Support planning reviews and S&OP processes through data preparation and analysis.
• Analyze trends, identify root causes, and recommend solutions to improve service and inventory performance.
• Assist with planning system testing, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

We're looking for a detail-oriented Demand Planning Support Specialist to support demand and supply planning operations by managing planning data, supplier follow-up, inventory health, and replenishment activities. Working closely with the Demand Planning & Forecasting Lead, this role helps ensure planning processes run smoothly, enabling the team to focus on forecasting, inventory strategy, and business planning.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate updates to lead times, minimum order quantities (MOQs), lot sizes, and replenishment settings
• Monitor supplier past-due purchase orders and customer backorders
• Partner with suppliers to expedite or de-expedite orders based on inventory needs
• Support recovery plans for shortages and delayed shipments
• Track inventory health, including excess, obsolete, slow-moving, and shortage inventory

What You Bring

• Strong analytical and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Intermediate Excel skills, including functions such as VLOOKUP, INDEX, and MATCH
• Experience working with suppliers, ERP systems, or planning tools preferredli>
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across teams
