Job summary

BIC World in Shelton, CT is seeking a Senior Manager of Demand Planning to lead the end-to-end US demand planning for a $1B business across three categories and over 1,400 SKUs. The role focuses on turning market and commercial inputs into a single, actionable demand view to optimize service, inventory, and revenue.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• APICS/ASCM certification or equivalent supply chain certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end monthly demand planning process across all U.S. categories.
• Own the demand plan across multiple planning horizons (0–24 months, AOP, LE, LRP).
• Establish and improve demand planning methodologies with statistical forecasting and market intelligence.
• Drive improvements in forecast accuracy and bias; manage planning governance and accountability.
• Lead IBP/S&OP governance and prepare materials for senior leadership.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain to translate strategies into demand plans.
• Support launch planning and demand forecasting for new products and portfolio changes.
• Drive digital transformation and continuous improvement in planning processes.
