Job summary

Groupe SEB North America is seeking a Demand Planning Lead to drive roll‑forward forecasts and the S&OP cycle across brands and markets. You will collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Finance, and Operations to improve forecast accuracy and inventory availability, ensuring profitable growth.

The role emphasizes leadership of the demand review, data-driven decision making, and continuous process improvement across a hybrid Irvine-based setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, finance, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in demand planning, forecasting, supply planning, or related function.
• Proven experience leading demand-review and S&OP processes in multi-brand, multi-market environments.
• Strong understanding of statistical forecasting techniques, trend, seasonality, and exception-based planning.
• Experience with SAP ERP and BI tools; proficient in Excel and data visualization.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve the demand-planning process across a rolling 12–18 month horizon.
• Lead the monthly demand-review and document assumptions, risks, and decisions within the S&OP cycle.
• Collaborate with Sales, Service, Product Management, Finance, and Supply Chain to develop consensus forecasts.
• Analyze forecast performance, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Identify gaps versus budget and coordinate commercial or operational responses.
• Incorporate customer intelligence, promotions, seasonality, and market trends into the plan.
• Provide inputs for safety stock, allocation, and inventory prioritization in partnership with Supply Chain.
• Communicate risks/opportunities and support mitigation with production sites and stakeholders.
• Support product life-cycle planning, including new products and phase-outs.
• Utilize ERP and BI tools to improve forecast quality and planning efficiency.
