Job summary

NXP Semiconductors is seeking a Demand Planning Intern to support our supply chain team with hands-on experience in forecasting processes. You will collect and analyze sales data, market trends, and customer forecasts, and assist in building forecasting models using stats, machine learning, and AI techniques.

You will develop KPIs, leverage data visualization tools, and learn NXP’s planning systems with team support.

Qualifications

Pursuing a Master's or PhD in SCM or related quantitative field.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate in a team.
Proactive self-starter with strong desire to learn and contribute.
Experience with data science programming languages (Python, R) and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).

Responsibilities

Support demand planning activities by collecting, organizing, and analyzing sales data, market trends, and customer forecasts.
Assist in building forecasting models using traditional statistics, machine learning and AI techniques.
Develop KPIs and analytical tools to identify demand patterns, anomalies, risks, and opportunities.
Learn and apply NXP’s demand planning systems and software with training and support from the team.
