Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim is seeking a talented and innovative Intern to join our Demand Planning – Commercial Supply Chain team at our Duluth facility in Georgia. You will engage with forward-thinking professionals and contribute to data-driven initiatives to streamline reporting processes and shape the digital landscape of the team.

This internship offers hands-on experience in analytics, dashboard development in Power BI, and collaboration across functional areas.

Qualifications

  • Must be an undergraduate, graduate or advanced degree student in good academic standing.
  • Enrollment at an accredited college or university for the duration of the internship.
  • Overall GPA 3.0 or higher preferred (last quarter/semester).
  • Major or minor in related field of internship/co-op.

Responsibilities

  • Assist and provide support to US Commercial Demand Planning Team.
  • Develop and automate dashboards and reports in Power BI.
  • Demand Planning liaison to digitization initiatives – lead implementation.
  • Create documentation for maintaining reports and dashboards.
  • Assist with Product Lifecycle Management activities (launches & discontinuations).

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Assist and provide support to US Commercial Demand Planning Team
  • Develop and automate dashboards and reports in Power BI
  • Demand Planning liaison to Project Supply Chain Transparency – leading the implementation of Demand Planning digitization
  • Create documentation for maintaining reports and dashboards
  • Assist with Product Lifecycle Management activities (product version management, product launches & discontinuations)
  • Participate in monthly S&OP Cycle (Data Collection, Supply & Demand Reviews, S&OP Meetings)
Requirements
  • Must be a current undergraduate, graduate or advanced degree student in good academic standing
  • Student must be enrolled at an accredited college or university for the duration of the internship/co‑op
  • Overall cumulative minimum GPA from last completed quarter/semester 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) preferred
  • Major or minor in related field of internship/co‑op
  • Undergraduate students must have completed at least 12 credit hours at current college or university
  • Graduate and advanced degree students must have completed at least 9 credit hours at current college or university
Eligibility Requirements
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction
  • Must be willing to take a drug test and post‑offer physical (if required)
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
Desired Skills, Experience and Abilities
  • Comprehensive understanding of end‑to‑end supply chain processes
  • Strong financial knowledge
  • Proficiency in data analytics
  • Experience with Power BI
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
