Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim in Gainesville, GA is seeking a talented Intern to join our BPE department. You will develop and deploy a digital solution for daily and weekly performance review meetings at the site level and gain exposure to poultry vaccine manufacturing and Lean Six Sigma belts.

As a co-op student, you will contribute to data visualization with Power BI, connect metrics across dashboards, and support continuous improvement initiatives while working in a collaborative, global environment.

Qualifications

• Must be an undergraduate, graduate or advanced degree student in good academic standing.
• Student must be enrolled at an accredited college or university for the duration of the internship/co-op.
• Overall cumulative GPA 3.0 on a 4.0 scale preferred.
• Major or minor in related internship/co-op field.
• Undergraduate students must have completed at least 12 credit hours at current college or university.
• Graduate/advanced degree students must have completed at least 9 credit hours at current college or university.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy a digital solution for site tier 3 KPIs (daily and weekly).
• Develop and deploy a digital solution for site tier 2 KPIs.
• Develop and deploy a digital solution for a BPE opportunity pipeline.
• Ensure boards can be updated with new metrics and visual management tools.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy a digital solution for site tier 3 KPIs (daily and weekly)
• Develop and deploy a digital solution for site tier 2 KPIs
• Develop and deploy a digital solution for a BPE opportunity pipeline (depository for future project opportunities, prioritization, etc.)
• Ensure that the boards can be updated with new metrics and/or visual management tools

Requirements

• Must be a current undergraduate, graduate or advanced degree student in good academic standing
• Student must be enrolled at an accredited college or university for the duration of the internship/co-op
• Overall cumulative minimum GPA from last completed quarter/semester 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) preferred
• Major or minor in related field of internship/co-op
• Undergraduate students must have completed at least 12 credit hours at current college or university
• Graduate and advanced degree students must have completed at least 9 credit hours at current college or university

Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction
• Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required)
• Must be 18 years of age or older

Desired Skills, Experience and Abilities

• Ability to develop and create a Power BI dashboard
• Ability to connect metrics from other dashboards and possibly other systems
• Desire to learn more about Lean Six Sigma
• Interest in biological vaccine manufacturing
