Job summary

Axion Recruitment is seeking an experienced Demand Planner for a Waukegan, IL manufacturing operation. The role focuses on demand forecasting, production planning and cross-functional supply chain coordination to support high-volume North American production.

You will own forecasting processes, monitor schedules and drive continuous improvement in planning accuracy, reporting and ERP/MRP data quality.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of demand planning or production planning experience within manufacturing.
• Strong ERP/MRP systems experience.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
• Experience with forecasting, inventory planning and production scheduling.
• Manufacturing experience in consumer goods, packaging or related environment.
• Excellent communication, planning and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain demand forecasts and production plans.
• Monitor production schedules, planning dates and supply chain risks.
• Analyse forecasting trends, shortages and inventory requirements.
• Produce demand planning reports, KPIs and forecast analysis.
• Support high-priority production campaigns and planning activities.
• Coordinate planning schedules with Production, Purchasing and Supply Chain teams.
• Maintain ERP/MRP planning data and reporting accuracy.
• Update planning documentation and SOPs.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities across planning processes.

We're recruiting for an experienced Demand Planner to join a well-established manufacturing business supporting high-volume production operations across North America.

This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of demand forecasting, production planning and supply chain coordination, ensuring accurate forecasting and efficient manufacturing operations.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain demand forecasts and production plans
• Monitor production schedules, planning dates and supply chain risks
• Analyse forecasting trends, shortages and inventory requirements
• Produce demand planning reports, KPIs and forecast analysis
• Support high-priority production campaigns and planning activities
