Job summary

DöhlerGroup North America seeks a Demand Planner to increase transparency of medium-term demand and improve forecast accuracy while coordinating with sales, production, and logistics to meet customer requirements.

Responsible for aligning demand trends with budgeted production, documenting processes, and maintaining data in internal IT systems. Strong SAP R/3 knowledge and analytics experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Completed commercial apprenticeship or degree in Business Administration or Economics.
• 3-5 years of professional experience in supply chain/production environments.
• Excellent knowledge of SAP R/3 and common analysis and evaluation tools.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to the approved budget and counter potential deviations in consultation with the line manager.
• Continuously standardize and optimize processes and organizational structures.
• Define and ensure optimum information exchange within the division and with interfaces.
• Document efficient processes in the company's internal IT systems and maintain OEDM standards (e.g. 5S; standardized work).
• Monitor medium-term demand changes and recognize trends in raw materials and finished goods.
• Check material availability and production capacities against incoming orders; support S&OP calls with stakeholders.

Job description

The Demand Planner is responsible for increasing the transparency of the medium-term development of demand within Doehler North America and improving forecast accuracy and processing customer orders efficiently and on time taking into account cost-optimized production and customer requirements into account.

Your Responsibilities

• Continuously standardizing and optimizing processes and organizational structures and initiating corresponding measures.
• Defining, implementing and ensuring an optimum exchange of information within the division and with the interfaces.
• Documenting efficient and effective processes in the company's internal IT systems.
• Implementing and maintaining OEDM standards (e.g. 5S; standardised work).
• Monitoring medium-term changes in demand/trend recognition (raw materials and final products).
• Continuously optimizing of the system environment.
• Checking material and raw material availability and production capacities in accordance with incoming customer orders.
• Conduct S&OP calls with relevant stakeholders.
• Review upcoming pipeline, project launch dates, orders vs forecast an a regular basis with sales.

• 3-5 years of professional experience, ideally in a consulting role for the supply chain and Production environment
