Job description

SummaryThe Demand Planner primarily supports our customer team with inventory requests, lead times and daily report upkeep. They are also responsible for establishing and updating the finished goods target stock levels at our factory and satellite warehouse locations. The ideal candidate for this role will leverage analytical skills to review customer, regional and model specific trends to provide collective forecast data usable for production planning.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Allocate open orders and communicate with Customer Service.Create and maintain reports to assist cross-functional teams.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align production planning with sales demand.Analyze data to identify customer, regional and model specific trends.Use market knowledge to develop forecast models that project collective future demand.Notify and work with management on any overstock or out-of-stock concerns.Analyze inventory demand to effectively replenish satellite warehouses.Process transfer orders for satellite warehouse fulfillment.Complete Cube-IQ loading diagrams to optimize container space used for efficient shipping.The Demand Planner is an office-based role. Regular, predictable on-site attendance is required. Eligibility for up to one (1) remote workday per week may be permitted, subject to business needs and departmental guidelines.Perform core job responsibilities through regular in-person collaboration, including participation in meetings, team discussions, and cross-functional coordination.Collaborate with fellow team members and leadership in a shared work environment to support innovation and timely decision-making, problem-solving, and operational effectiveness.Maintain a consistent on-site presence to support and respond to day-to-day business needs, including attendance of scheduled meetings and real-time collaboration as needed to ensure alignment of department and company priorities.Meet regularly with manager in-person to align on workload, priorities, performance, and ongoing professional development.High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.One or more years of related experience required.Highly self-motivated and able to work independently with little direct supervision.Positive, collaborative attitude; team player.Strong organization and prioritization skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a demanding work environment.Strong attention to detail and resourcefulness.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and PowerBI preferred.The hours for this position are 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday through Friday.We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.Company-paid background check required upon hire.
