Job summary

Helen of Troy is seeking a Demand Planner in Marlborough, MA to manage forecasting for Sales and Product across regions and channels. You will build and maintain forecast models and work with Sales, Marketing, Product and Operations to drive demand plans.

You will review historical trends, develop statistical models, and deliver monthly forecasts while collaborating across functions to optimize inventory and service levels. This role requires strong Excel skills and ERP experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Analytics or related discipline.
• 3+ years demand planning or sales analysis for a consumer goods company.
• Experience with inventory planning, demand and supply planning.
• Microsoft Excel and reporting skills.
• Experience with ERP systems; Oracle, Demantra or o9 beneficial.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review and distribute monthly sales/revenue forecasts by region and channel for multiple time horizons.
• Develop regional category, sub-category and SKU level unit demand plans for key stakeholders.
• Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, and prepare forecast data.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product and Operations to drive forecasts and plans.
• Provide input to inventory strategies for existing items, new products and phase-outs.
• Deliver monthly Regional Sales Forecast and Regional Demand Plan clearly.
• Report on KPIs related to inventory, forecasting, and planning.

What you will be doing

The Demand Planner is responsible for all forecasting activities associated with Sales and Product. The Demand Planner creates and maintains forecast and demand planning models for region, channel and customers incorporating business intelligence and forecast information gathered from sales, marketing, operations, product and retailer replenishment, sell-through analysis and other sources.

• Prepare, review and distribute monthly sales/revenue forecasts by region and channel for multiple time horizons.
• Develop regional category, sub-category and SKU level unit demand plans to key stakeholders that informs decision making and supply planning.
• Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical models, and evaluate results.
• Utilize a collaborative and consensus approach by working with Sales, Marketing, Product and Operations.
• Provide input to the Supply Planning organization in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products and product phase-outs.
• Monthly delivery of Regional Sales Forecast and Regional Demand Plan in an easily understood manner.
• 360 Feedback from cross functional teams/Accuracy of reporting.
• Work closely with Sales and Operations to optimize inventory to achieve/exceed service level targets.
• Systems implementations and process improvement.
• Manage projects as assigned.
• Provide deliverables for S&OP team and process improvements.
• Update sales and operations leadership regularly on relevant KPI's related to inventory, forecasting, and planning.
• Consistent reporting and tracking.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Analytics or related discipline
• 3+ years previous demand planning or sales analysis for a consumer goods company
• Experience with inventory planning, demand and supply planning
• Microsoft office, strong Excel and reporting skills
• Experience with ERP systems; Oracle, Demantra or o9 beneficial
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

Salary

In Massachusetts, the standard base pay range for this role is $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 annually. This base pay range is specific to Massachusetts and may not be applicable to other locations. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to location, experience, skill level, and performance. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
