Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Global Demand Planner (Hybrid) to evaluate business plans and develop short-term plans with cross-functional partners. The role emphasizes data-driven modeling, performance metrics, and actionable insights to drive financial value across the organization.

You will lead complex analyses, build forecasting models, and collaborate with senior leadership to optimize resources and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• University degree in Supply Chain Management, Business/Data Analytics, Finance or Economics, Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• APICS or IBF Certification is beneficial.
• Typically 4–6 years’ work experience in Supply Chain: strategy, planning, operations, finance, or related area.
• Advanced English, strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Intermediate experience using Excel and ERP Planning systems; SC certification a plus.
• Developed knowledge of research methodology for key business issues.
• Strong analytical thinking, technical analysis and data manipulation skills.
• Strong project management and leadership abilities.
• Strong relationship management, partnering and consulting skills.

The Global Demand Planner role

The Global Demand Planner evaluates business plans to ensure they are operationally executable against defined strategic objectives. Leads and partners with cross-functional teams to develop short-term (typically less than two years) business plans and support data-driven models. Ensures that business activities are aligned with stated plans among different stakeholders. Sets business metrics, evaluates actual performance, and makes recommendations to business leaders on performance target achievement. Develop data-driven analyses to optimize resources and ensure that business plans can be translated into financial value.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex data and business analyses to develop business plans and identify recommendations and insights.
• Work independently to construct highly complex statistical and financial models to forecast business performance; coaches others on model development.
• Establish the metrics required to measure business performance and develop the process for identifying and addressing performance gaps.
• Manage complex, time-sensitive market research projects and prepare synthesized intelligence reports with clear implications.
• Lead cross-functional teams across the entire span of business planning activities.
• Contribute to priority projects by adding creative insights and developing recommendations.
• Partner with business leaders to develop business plans and proactively identify new opportunities.
• Develop go-forward business plan recommendations based on potential risks and returns.
• Identify cutting-edge analytical tools, models, and methods for making key business decisions.

Education and Experience Required

Good at partnering, innovating, and making things happen. You are aligned to our core value University degree in Supply Chain Management, Business/Data Analytics, Finance or Economics, Industrial Engineering or demonstrable equivalent. APICS or IBF Certification is beneficial. Typically, 4-6 years’ work experience in Supply Chain: strategy, planning, operations, finance, or related functional area. Advanced English level, strong verbal and written communication skills. Intermediate experience using Excel and prior experience with ERP Planning systems Supply Chain certification is a plus. Developed knowledge of research methodology for key business issues. Excellent analytical thinking, technical analysis, and data manipulation skills. Ability to leverage new analytical techniques to develop creative approaches to business analysis. Strong knowledge and understanding of how to analyze business problems using Excel, Access, statistical analysis, and financial modeling. Strong business acumen and technical knowledge within area of responsibility. Strong project management skills, including leading large, cross-functional initiatives. Strong relationship management skills, including partnering and consulting. Developed leadership skills, including team building, conflict resolution, and management. Ability to identify emerging trends from market and industry data.
