Join a dynamic team driving cross-business collaboration and integrated commercial solutions across the global energy sector. In this role, you will lead demand and proposal management activities for major enterprise opportunities, supporting projects valued between $4 billion and $10 billion. You will work closely with commercial, sales, operations, and global supply chain teams to align customer demand with manufacturing capacity and business priorities. By transforming complex data into actionable insights, you will help senior leaders make informed strategic decisions and improve operational visibility. You will also coordinate high-value proposals, manage commercial risks, and strengthen customer relationships throughout the sales process. This remote opportunity offers the chance to influence large-scale energy infrastructure projects while contributing to innovation, operational excellence, and the ongoing energy transition.

Accountabilities
  • Demand management leadership: Serve as the primary point of contact for demand management across business units, coordinating commercial teams and ensuring alignment between enterprise demand, supply capabilities, and strategic priorities.
  • Demand planning tools and visibility: Develop new tools and enhance existing systems to improve visibility into manufacturing capacity, equipment availability, and demand forecasts for power generation and electrification equipment. Collaborate with sales managers, operations leaders, and global supply chain teams to support effective planning.
  • Data analysis and executive reporting: Consolidate complex enterprise-level demand data into clear, actionable visualizations and reports that support decision-making by senior leadership.
  • Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP): Own reporting processes and establish consistent reporting rhythms to monitor demand, pipeline performance, and operational priorities.
  • Data integrity and pipeline management: Partner with commercial teams to audit order pipelines, identify data inconsistencies, resolve information gaps, and improve the reliability of pipeline analytics.
  • Integrated proposal management: Lead the coordination and development of cross-business proposals, ensuring that integrated customer solutions are delivered on time and meet quality expectations.
  • Proposal planning and risk management: Define and manage proposal scope, schedules, costs, and risks in collaboration with sales, commercial, and risk management teams across the relevant business units.
  • Customer engagement and advocacy: Act as a primary customer interface for integrated opportunities, leading discussions, negotiations, and clarifications to ensure that proposed solutions address customer needs and expectations.
  • Continuous improvement: Partner with commercial excellence teams to optimize demand management, competitive intelligence, market analysis, and proposal development processes.
  • Standardization and documentation: Develop, document, and maintain standard operating procedures to improve the consistency, transparency, and reliability of business reporting and operational workflows.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Build effective working relationships across business segments, functions, and regional teams to support enterprise-wide coordination and successful commercial outcomes.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, marketing, finance, or a related discipline from an accredited institution, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Professional experience: At least eight years of demonstrated experience in strategic marketing, sales, sales operations, commercial operations, or commercial finance, preferably within the power industry.
  • Demand and proposal management: Experience managing complex commercial opportunities, coordinating proposals, and aligning business requirements with operational capabilities is highly desirable.
  • Analytical capabilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex datasets, draw sound business conclusions from limited information, and develop practical, data-driven recommendations.
  • Financial expertise: Strong financial analysis skills and a solid understanding of business performance metrics, commercial economics, cost structures, and financial implications.
  • Reporting and presentation: Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to translate complex information into clear insights and recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Technical proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with the ability to develop effective reports, presentations, and analytical tools.
  • Process improvement: Demonstrated ability to simplify processes, establish standardized workflows, improve operational efficiency, and influence stakeholders to adopt new approaches.
  • Strategic thinking: Ability to anticipate changing market and operational conditions, navigate ambiguity, identify risks, and develop effective strategies to address evolving business needs.
  • Creative problem-solving: A track record of developing innovative solutions, overcoming implementation challenges, and driving improvements in complex commercial environments.
