Job summary

CommunityCare HMO Inc. seeks a Delphi Software Engineer to maintain and modernize a Delphi portfolio while migrating to Azure cloud-native solutions built on C# (Function Apps, App Services, Storage Accounts, Managed Identity, Key Vault).

The role ensures health plan capabilities stay reliable during re-platforming for future use. Responsibilities include designing migration plans, ensuring data integrity, and collaborating with Architecture, Data Engineering, and Security to meet HIPAA/HITRUST

Qualifications

• Proven Delphi maintenance and development experience (desktop and/or web).
• Strong C# development for Azure-native services.
• Knowledge of Azure Storage, Managed Identity, Key Vault.
• Experience with Oracle and SQL Server databases.
• Ability to reverse-engineer and document legacy logic and data flows.
• Balance legacy system stability with modernization pace.
• Strong written and verbal communication for docs and plans.
• HealthCare Sanctions background check completion.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, support, and troubleshoot the Delphi portfolio, including desktop and web apps with Oracle/SQL Server.
• Lead modernization to Azure cloud-native solutions (C#, Function Apps, App Services).
• Assess legacy apps to design cloud-native replacement architecture.
• Develop migration plans prioritizing risk, complexity, and ongoing support.
• Write clean, maintainable C# code and apply Azure security practices (Managed Identity, Key Vault).
• Validate data integrity and parity between legacy and modernized apps.
• Collaborate with Architecture, Data Engineering, and Security to align with HIPAA/HITRUST controls.
• Document legacy behavior, data flows, and business rules to preserve knowledge.
• Support Oracle and SQL Server dependencies during transition.
