Job summary

CommunityCare, Inc. is seeking a Delphi Software Engineer to modernize a portfolio of legacy Delphi applications while migrating to Azure cloud-native solutions built on C#. You will ensure continuity of health plan capabilities, validate data parity, and collaborate across Architecture, Data Engineering, and Security to meet HIPAA/HITRUST controls.

The role focuses on redesigning Delphi ecosystems for cloud readiness, maintaining reliability, and delivering secure, scalable services in Azure.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience with Delphi (desktop and/or web-based)
• Strong C# development experience for Azure-native services
• Experience with Azure cloud services: Storage Accounts, Managed Identity, Key Vault
• Experience with Oracle and SQL Server databases
• Ability to reverse-engineer and document legacy logic and data flows
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to balance stability with modernization pace
• Effective documentation of technical findings and migration plans for engineers and IT leadership
• Health Care Sanctions background check completed or eligible

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot Delphi applications (desktop and web) against Oracle/SQL Server
• Lead modernization to Azure cloud-native solutions built on C#
• Design cloud-native architecture aligned with target-state and HIPAA/HITRUST controls
• Develop migration plans prioritizing applications based on risk and complexity
• Write clean, maintainable C# code with secure Azure practices
• Validate data integrity and parity between legacy and modernized systems
• Document legacy behavior, data flows, and business rules for institutional knowledge
• Collaborate with Architecture, Data Engineering, and Security teams during transition
• Support dependencies across legacy and modernized deployments
• Perform other duties as assigned
