Job summary

BC Tech Pro is seeking a Computer Field Technician to perform hardware repairs and installations on laptop and desktop units in Groton, SD. You must have prior experience with laptop and desktop hardware and be able to complete parts replacements for Dell and Lenovo warranty services.

This is a 1099 contract position. You will log into a technician portal, coordinate onsite visits with customers, and receive parts shipped by manufacturers. Pay is per ticket, with weekly payments on Fridays.

Qualifications

• Experience with laptop and desktop hardware
• Dell/Lenovo warranty parts handling experience preferred
• Reliable transportation and internet access required

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware part replacements for Dell and Lenovo warranty services
• Log into tech portal by 9 am on workdays and update/-map tickets
• Coordinate onsite visits with customers and confirm appointment windows
• Parts will be shipped by manufacturers and returned using provided labels
