Job description

Reubens Brews is looking for a reliable, motivated team member to support our delivery and warehouse operations. Based out of our Seattle (Ballard) production facility, this part-time position plays a vital role in ensuring our beer gets where it needs to go safely, on time, and with care. The ideal candidate thrives on consistency, efficiency, and working both independently and as part of a team.

This role is part-time, with a regular schedule of 4-5 days per week, 5 hours per day. Weekend shifts are likely, and some flexibility is required to provide coverage during staff vacations or unplanned absences.

About us:

Reuben's Brews is a family-owned brewery that opened in 2012. We brew from the glass backwards—designing each beer with intention, unbound by constraints. We know making the extra effort is worth it. Reubens is the most decorated brewery in Washington, with two brewhouses, two tasting rooms, and two private event spaces. In 2024, we brewed 26,000 BBLs and continue to grow with purpose in the Pacific Northwest.

The role:

This role is responsible for the following:

  1. Build daily orders for taprooms
  2. Deliver and restock by delivering kegs and cases, then placing them in designated taproom coolers or storage areas
  3. Transfer items and post invoices in Ekos (our brewery management software)
  4. Communicate order exceptions (OOS, Back In Stock Dates, Alternatives) with taproom leads
  5. Additional duties as needed, including keg washing and other production or warehouse tasks

The successful candidate will have:

  1. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  2. Ability to lift/move full half-barrel kegs (up to 165 lbs with a hand truck)
  3. Forklift operation skills (training and certification will be provided)
  4. Comfort with physical labor: standing, lifting, loading/unloading
  5. Basic computer skills; experience with Ekos is a plus
  6. Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented

What We Look For:

  1. Glass Backwards mentality—taking unique, solution-focused approaches to problems
  2. A proven track record of "Making it Happen" with an enthusiastic, can-do attitude, a thirst to learn and teach others, and an obsessive commitment to our brewery's success
  3. Recognition that we are Here to Delight—for internal and external customers, partners, and the Reubens team as a whole
  4. A One Team mentality—team-focused approach to achieving results
  5. Assuming the Best Intent—no ego, focus on team results, and willingness to jump in where needed
  6. A Passion for Craft—recognize and live a mentality that extra effort is worth it

The duties and responsibilities described are not exhaustive; additional tasks may be assigned as needed. Roles and responsibilities may evolve over time reflecting the growth and maturity of the brewery.

Our team is the heart of Reubens Brews. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, career development opportunities, and the exciting chance to help craft a wonderful future.

  • Medical and Dental Insurance (for employees working 20+ hours/week)
  • Paid Time Off
  • 401(k) retirement plan with 4% company match
