Job summary

Pella Windows and Doors by Horne is seeking a dependable Warehouse Manager to lead daily warehouse operations and ensure safe, accurate, timely deliveries across Michigan.

The role oversees warehouse staff, delivery coordination, and inventory control while maintaining high standards of customer service and safety. Strong leadership and organizational skills are essential for success in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in warehouse, delivery, logistics, distribution, and customer service.
• Prior supervisory experience strongly preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with multiple priorities and changing schedules.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Read work orders, delivery paperwork, and inventory records.
• Comfortable using warehouse, inventory, routing, or business software systems.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Forklift experience required.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and customer service.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and work in a warehouse.
• Able to lift and move heavy products and assist staff.
• Full-time in warehouse/delivery environment.
• Varying schedule based on business needs; starts 6:00 a.m.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, staging, loading, and prep for delivery.
• Coordinate routes and schedules to ensure timely, safe delivery.
• Supervise, train, schedule, and support warehouse and delivery drivers.
• Maintain inventory records and coordinate audits.
• Ensure orders are picked, loaded, and documented before shipment.
• Monitor vehicles, equipment, and facilities for safety and maintenance.
• Promote and enforce safety procedures and housekeeping.
• Communicate with sales/ops/customer teams about timing and status.
• Identify opportunities to improve layout, workflow, and accuracy.
• Address delivery concerns and inventory discrepancies promptly.
