Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to customers using pallet jack and dolly, ensuring delivery tickets accompany material.
• Pickup customer returns and verify product matches for credits.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections; fuel as needed and report issues.
• Follow all safety policies and PPE rules.
• Assist warehouse with picking and prepping orders for shipment; receive and stock material.
• Work overtime as needed.
• Adhere to safety regulations including PPE with up to 400 lbs weight harness capacity.
• Pre-employment drug and background screening required.

Job Summary

Truck Driver – Deliver freight for Ferguson. Starting pay rate at $28 per hour, may be higher based on experience.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with occasional overtime as required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Meet and maintain qualifications for CDL requirements.
• Follow all DOT standards and regulations.
• Possession of a DOT Medical Card or the ability to acquire a DOT Medical Card.
• Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50 lbs.
• A background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving and delivery, is a plus.
• Strong communicator with a customer‑focused approach.
• Able to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to the customer, utilizing pallet jack and two‑wheel dolly to load and unload and ensuring delivery of ticket with material.
• Pick up customer returns, validating product match for credit requests.
• Perform daily pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report any problems or issues to supervisor.
• Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures.
• Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment as needed, as well as receiving, verifying staging and stocking incoming material.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE); this includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.
• Pre‑employment drug and background screening required.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $20.22 to $32.30 per hour. Estimated ranges displayed monthly for salaried roles or hourly for all other roles. The starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements. This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
