Job summary

Ferguson is seeking a truck driver to deliver materials to customers, typically Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. You will operate with a pallet jack and dolly, load and unload at customer sites, and maintain accurate delivery tickets.

The role requires a valid CDL, DOT compliance, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Benefits include competitive pay, 401(k) with company match, and time off. Applicants will undergo pre-employment drug and background screening.

• Assist warehouse with pulling/packing orders and stocking incoming material.

Hours are Monday to Friday between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid CDL
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Meet and maintain qualifications for CDL requirements
• Follow all DOT standards and regulations
• Must currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card in order to meet driver requirements.
• Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50lbs
• A background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving and delivery is a plus
• Strong communicator with a customer-focused approach
• Able to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads

Responsibilities:

• Deliver materials to the customer, which includes utilizing pallet jack and two-wheel dolly to load and unload and ensuring delivery of ticket with material
• Pick up customer returns, validating product match for credit requests
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report any problems or issues to supervisor
• Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures
• Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment as needed, as well as receiving, verifying, staging and stocking incoming material
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.

Pay Range: $19.26 - $30.76

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
