Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, LLC in Omaha, Nebraska is seeking a delivery driver who loads and unloads materials, delivers to customers, and supports warehouse operations. The role requires a valid CDL, HazMat endorsement, and compliance with DOT standards. You will work Monday–Friday from 7:00 a.m.

to 3:30 p.m., with overtime as needed. Starting pay is $22.00 per hour, with potential increases based on experience.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL.
• Hazmat endorsement is required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Meet and maintain CDL requirements.
• Follow all DOT standards and regulations.
• Must currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card.
• Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs.
• Warehouse/logistics experience is a plus.
• Strong communicator with a customer‑focused approach.
• Ability to navigate basic technology, including iPads.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to customers using pallet jack and dolly; ensure delivery ticket is complete.
• Pick up customer returns and verify product matches for credit.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; fuel as needed; report issues.
• Follow and apply all safety policies and PPE requirements.
• Assist warehouse with pulling, preparing orders, receiving, staging, and stocking materials.
• Overtime may be required.
• Adhere to DOT standards and safety regulations.

Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to the customer, which includes utilizing pallet jack and two-wheel dolly to load and unload and ensuring delivery of ticket with material.
• Pick up customer returns, validating product match for credit requests.
• Perform daily pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report any problems or issues to supervisor.
• Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures.
• Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment as needed, as well as receiving, verifying, staging and stocking incoming material.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL.
• HAZMAT endorsement is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Meet and maintain qualifications for CDL requirements.
• Follow all DOT standards and regulations.
• Must currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card in order to meet driver requirements.
• Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50lbs.
• A background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving and delivery, is a plus.
• Strong communicator with a customer‑focused approach.
• Ability to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads.

Hours

Monday to Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Pay

Pay starting at $22.00 per hour and can pay higher based on experience.

Pay Range: $19.26 – $30.76. Estimated ranges displayed are monthly for salaried roles or hourly for all other roles. This role is bonus or incentive plan eligible. Ferguson complies with all wage regulations. The starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements.
