Job summary

Ferguson is seeking a CDL-A delivery driver in Florida. The role offers daytime hours, with possible overtime, and starting pay that reflects experience. You will deliver materials to customers, load/unload with pallet jacks, and ensure accurate ticketing.

The position requires a valid CDL A, ability to lift 50+ lbs, and a background in warehouse operations. Strong customer service, basic tech skills (iPads), and strict adherence to DOT safety standards are essential for success and career

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL A.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Flatbed experience is required.
• Meet and maintain qualifications for CDL requirements.
• Follow all DOT standards and regulations.
• Must currently, have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card in order to meet driver requirements.
• Ability to lift items that weigh over 50lbs.
• A background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving and delivery is a plus.
• Strong communicator with a customer-focused approach.
• Able to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to the customer, which includes utilizing pallet jack and two-wheel dolly to load and unload and ensuring delivery of ticket with material.
• Pick up customer returns, validating product match for credit requests.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report any problems or issues to supervisor.
• Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures.
• Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment as needed, as well as receiving, verifying, staging and stocking incoming material.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM and some overtime as needed

Pay Range:

$19.26 - $30.76

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
