Job summary

Ferguson in Green Bay, WI is seeking a CDL A driver with 2–5 years of experience to load, deliver, and unload materials to customers. The role includes pre/post trip inspections, potential overtime, and strict adherence to DOT and safety policies.

Starting pay is $28-$32 per hour, with full-time scheduling Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM. Applicants must maintain a valid DOT Medical card and be able to lift 50+ lbs.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL A with clean driving record.
• 2–5 years of commercial driving experience preferred.
• Must be 21 or older and meet CDL requirements.
• Must maintain a valid DOT Medical card.
• Ability to lift items over 50 lbs; warehouse experience is a plus.
• Customer-focused communicator with basic tech skills (iPad).

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to customers using pallet jack and dolly; ensure delivery ticket accompanies material.
• Pickup returns, verify product matches for credits.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections; fuel and report issues.
• Follow all safety policies and PPE requirements, including max 400 lb harness cap.
• Assist warehouse team with order prep, receiving, staging, and stocking.
• Overtime as needed; comply with DOT and company safety rules.

Job description

Starting pay rate: $28-$32/hour, depending on experience

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM and some overtime as needed

Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid CDL A
• 2-5 years of commercial driving experience preferred
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Meet and maintain qualifications for CDL requirements
• Follow all DOT standards and regulations
• Must currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card in order to meet driver requirements.
• Ability to lift items that weigh over 50lbs
• A background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving and delivery is a plus
• Strong communicator with a customer-focused approach
• Able to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPad

Responsibilities:

• Deliver materials to the customer, which includes utilizing pallet jack and two-wheel dolly to load and unload and ensuring delivery of ticket with material
• Pick up customer returns, validating product match for credit requests
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report any problems or issues to supervisor
• Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures
• Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment as needed, as well as receiving, verifying, staging and stocking incoming material
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.
