Job summary

Ferguson in Wisconsin is hiring a truck driver to deliver materials to customers Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional overtime. Starting pay ranges $28–$32 per hour, depending on experience, with a benefits package including medical, dental, vision and retirement plan.

Candidates must have CDL A, 21+, 1–3 years experience, DOT medical card, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. The role emphasizes safety, dependable attendance, and customer service as key priorities.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL A.
• 1–3 years of commercial truck driving experience preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Meet and maintain CDL requirements.
• Must currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to the customer, using pallet jack and two-wheel dolly to load/unload and ensure delivery of ticket with material.
• Pick up customer returns, validating product match for credit requests.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report any problems to supervisor.
• Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures.
• Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment, as well as receiving, verifying, stocking incoming material.

Qualifications:

Must hold a valid CDL A

1-3 years of commercial truck driving experience preferred

Must be at least 21 years of age

Meet and maintain qualifications for CDL requirements

Follow all DOT standards and regulations

Must currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card in order to meet driver requirements.

Ability to lift items that weigh over 50lbs

A background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving and delivery is a plus

Strong communicator with a customer-focused approach

Able to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads

Responsibilities:

Deliver materials to the customer, which includes utilizing pallet jack and two-wheel dolly to load and unload and ensuring delivery of ticket with material

Pick up customer returns, validating product match for credit requests

Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report any problems or issues to supervisor

Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures

Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment as needed, as well as receiving, verifying, staging and stocking incoming material

Ability to work overtime as needed

Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.
