The role offers a stable schedule Monday–Friday 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, with on-call rotation roughly weekly and bonus opportunities. Most technicians take their trucks home and travel within a 2-hour radius from the branch.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• English reading, writing and speaking skills required.
• No experience required (entry level).
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Completion of Apria’s Driver Training Program preferred.

About the Role

The Delivery Technician delivers, sets up, and picks up durable medical equipment (DME) in patient homes. You will educate patients on basic equipment use and ensure safe operation while providing high‑quality customer service.

Salary

Salary Range $19.00–$23.00 per hour Pay varies based on experience, skills, and location Eligible for Safe Driver Bonus

What You’ll Do

• Safely lift, carry, and maneuver equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. as part of daily deliveries and setups
• Deliver, set up, and pick up DME and supplies inside patient homes
• Provide clear, compassionate, professional instruction on equipment use
• Offer a high level of customer service and support to patients who may rely on this equipment for life‑sustaining needs
• Load and unload equipment from the delivery vehicle
• Respond to emergency delivery requests when needed
• Complete delivery logs, pickup forms, and vehicle documentation accurately
• Maintain supply components in patient profiles
• Assist with equipment cleaning and minor repairs
• Perform routine vehicle checks
• Support additional duties as assigned

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 21 years of age or older
• Valid driver’s license
• Completion of Apria’s Driver Training Program
• English reading, writing, and speaking skills
