Job summary

Builders FirstSource, America’s largest supplier of building materials, seeks a delivery helper who assists drivers in loading, delivering, and unloading customer orders. No commercial vehicle license is required.

You will handle product like drywall, windows, and doors, secure cargo, and ensure on-site delivery accuracy. Responsibilities include vehicle inspections, route planning to meet daily goals, and maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 1 year experience or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with loading and securing product onto delivery vehicle.
• Assist Driver in delivering and off-loading at customer sites.
• Deliver orders using a company van or pickup truck and obtain signed proof of delivery.
• Drive pilot vehicle for oversize loads and ensure safety compliance.
• Inspect and maintain delivery vehicles for safety compliance.
• Plan daily tasks to meet productivity goals.
• Follow safety procedures and attend required safety meetings.
• Other duties as needed.
