Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Delivery Assistant in Corpus Christi, Texas. This role provides direct support to a McLane Delivery Driver and does not involve driving the truck. You will lift, move, and place delivery items, while maintaining safety and clear communication with customers.

Responsibilities include unloading trailers, ensuring proper storage, and aiding on-time deliveries. Candidates must be 18+, capable of lifting up to 75 pounds, and able to read and understand English.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English for job-related tasks.
• Lift up to 75 pounds and physically handle pallets and products.

Responsibilities

• Unload trailer using a hand truck or dolly.
• Place items in customer-designated storage areas in food-safe environment.
• Assist the Delivery Driver to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Work safely to prevent injuries and product damage.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
