Job summary

HD Supply is seeking a delivery driver to service customers within a defined area, using company-provided or rental vehicles. The role requires maintaining delivery records, inspecting and maintaining delivery vehicles, and providing customer service on order and delivery issues.

A valid driver’s license and acceptable MVR status are required. Expect routine MVR monitoring and adherence to safety regulations, with potential overnight travel less than 10%.

Qualifications

• Delivery experience with a box truck or similar vehicle.
• 1+ year of experience operating material handling equipment.
• Wholesale distribution experience.

Responsibilities

• Delivers customer orders safely within a service area and communicates order issues.
• Loads inventory into trucks and unloads at customer sites using material handling equipment.
• Reviews order manifests to ensure accuracy of orders and routes.
• Performs pre- and post-trip inspections per DOT and policies.
• Maintains vehicle and customer order records per company policies.
• Contacts customers to provide updates on delivery statuses.
