Job Description: Delivery Driver

Deliver parts and/or products to O’Reilly stores and distribution centers in a safe and efficient manner.

Note: Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Essential Job Functions

1. Drive company vehicle to deliver parts and products to stores and/or distribution centers. Must have a valid state driver’s license and meet company driving eligibility requirements.
2. Pick up and sign for stock transfers at each stop on the route, delivering to the appropriate store.
3. Maintain daily city route manifest for deliveries.
4. Keep fleet/fuel card, vehicle, and keys secure. Be familiar with accident report guidelines.
5. Ensure all invoices are verified and signed by designated store personnel. Make deliveries according to schedule and report any delays to the supervisor or stores.
6. Project a professional and personable image to maintain good customer relations. Communicate any issues or special needs to store management.
7. Check fluid levels (oil, radiator, transmission, etc.) and log mileage daily before operating the vehicle.
8. Report vehicle maintenance needs immediately. Ensure the fuel tank is filled and the vehicle is locked and secured at the end of the day. Drive safely and defensively.
9. Clock in/out according to company policy.

Required:

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Good interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet the standards set by the company's 14/18-point record system.

Desired:

• Fluency in multiple languages, with Spanish highly preferred.
