Job Description: Delivery Driver

Deliver parts and/or products to O’Reilly stores and distribution centers in a safe and efficient manner.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Drive company vehicle to deliver parts and products to stores and/or distribution centers. Must have a valid state driver’s license and meet company driving eligibility requirements. Pick up and sign for stock transfers at each stop on the route, and deliver to the appropriate store.
2. Maintain a daily city route manifest for deliveries.
3. Keep fleet/fuel card, vehicle, and keys secure. Be familiar with accident reporting guidelines.
4. Ensure all invoices are verified and signed by designated store personnel. Make deliveries according to schedule and report any delays to the supervisor or stores.
5. Project a professional and personable image to maintain good customer relations. Communicate any issues or special needs to store management.
6. Follow company policy for clocking in/out.
7. Check fluid levels (oil, radiator, transmission, etc.) and log mileage before operating the vehicle each day.
8. Report vehicle maintenance needs immediately. Ensure the fuel tank is filled, and the vehicle is locked and secured at the end of the day. Drive safely and defensively.

Required:

• Ability to adapt quickly to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet the company's 14/18-point standard.

Desired:

• Fluency in multiple languages, with Spanish highly preferred.
