Job summary

Carter Lumber is seeking a Delivery Specialist to transport orders to customers safely and on time using a company vehicle. You will maintain daily delivery schedules and provide friendly, professional service. When deliveries slow, you may assist in the Yard to help reach weekly hours goals.

The role offers opportunities for growth within a growing, family-owned company that values honesty and hard work. Prior delivery experience with building materials is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous delivery experience, preferably with building materials, furniture, appliances and other large items that need to be handled with care

Responsibilities

• Transport orders to customers in a safe and timely manner using a company vehicle.
• Ensure daily delivery schedules are met.
• If deliveries slow down, help in the Yard to reach weekly hours goal.
