Carter Lumber, a Townsend Building Supply division, is seeking a Delivery Specialist to transport orders to customers safely and on schedule while delivering friendly, professional service.

You may assist in the Yard to hit weekly hours and must have delivery experience and a clean driving record. We offer full-time benefits and room for growth.

Qualifications

• Previous delivery experience, preferably with building materials, furniture, appliances and other large items that need to be handled with care
• An acceptable driving record (some states require a chauffeur, class C or class D license)
• Familiarity with building materials and delivery equipment is preferred
• Ability to be a team player
• A friendly, customer-service-driven personality

Responsibilities

• Transport orders to customers in a safe and timely manner using a company vehicle
• Ensure daily delivery schedules are met
• Provide friendly and professional customer service
• Assist in the Yard to reach weekly hours goal when deliveries slow down
