Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Specialist to operate store vehicles and deliver parts to professional customers in a safe, efficient manner.

You will process deliveries with handheld devices, collect signatures, update mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections. The role includes handling customer returns, stocking, merchandising, and cashier duties when needed. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

• Driving record must meet the company’s 14/18‑point system.
• Possession of a legally required state driver’s license and meeting company driving eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use delivery fleet management handheld devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections.
• Keep vehicles clean, maintained, and perform daily inspections prior to operating.
• Secure delivery vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet credit cards, handheld devices, and collected monies at all times.
• Pick up customer returns—new, warranty, cores—and complete driver return slips.
• Communicate issues or special customer needs to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damage immediately.
• Ensure fuel tank is filled, lock, and secure the vehicle at the end of the day.
• Clock in/out according to company policy.
• Other duties include customer service, stocking, merchandising, errands, handling core returns, checking in and placing stock orders, and occasionally assisting customers or serving as a cashier.
