Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Specialist to maintain and operate store vehicles to deliver parts and products to professional customers in a safe and efficient manner. This position will also collect money on COD deliveries and pick up customer returns.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet company standards.
• Must possess a legally required state driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use delivery fleet devices to process deliveries and capture signatures.
• Keep vehicles clean, maintained, and inspected daily.
• Secure vehicles, keys, fuel cards, devices, and money.
• Pick up customer returns and fill out driver return slips.
• Communicate issues or special needs from customers to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs or damage to store management.
• Clock in/out per company policy.
• Other duties including customer service, stocking, merchandising, and errands.
• May assist customers or act as a cashier when needed.
