Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Specialist to operate store vehicles, deliver parts to professional customers, and collect COD payments. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply and you may assist with cashiering and merchandising as needed.

Responsibilities include safe driving, using hand-held devices, and maintaining vehicle readiness. You will report vehicle issues, ensure security of assets, and support store management with various duties.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet the company’s 14/18-point record system.
• Must possess a legally required state driver’s license and meet driving eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers safely and efficiently.
• Use handheld devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, and update mileage.
• Keep vehicles, keys, fuel cards, devices, and money secure.
• Pick up customer returns and fill out driver return slips.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs or damage to the store manager promptly.
• Ensure vehicle is fueled and secured at day end; clock in/out per policy.
• Assist with cashiering, merchandising, and other duties as needed.
