O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Specialist to operate store vehicles, deliver parts to professional customers, and collect monies on COD deliveries. The role requires safe driving, device usage for processing deliveries, and attention to vehicle maintenance.

Qualificações

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system.
• Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use delivery fleet management hand-held devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, complete daily vehicle inspections, etc.
• Keep delivery vehicles clean and well-maintained; complete daily inspections.
• Secure vehicles, keys, fuel cards, devices, and collected monies at all times.
• Pickup customer returns and fill out driver return slips; assist customers as needed.
• Communicate issues or special needs from customers to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs or damages to the store manager.
• Ensure fuel tanks are topped up and vehicles are secured at day’s end.
• Clock in/out according to policy; perform other duties including stocking and merchandising.
