Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Specialist to maintain and operate store vehicles to deliver parts and/or products to professional customers in a safe, efficient manner. This role also collects money on COD deliveries and handles customer returns.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. The position requires driving, vehicle inspections, and secure handling of keys, fuel cards, devices, and money.

Qualifications

• Must have ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills required.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing delivery situations.
• Must possess a legally required state driver’s license and meet driving eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Operate delivery fleet devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, and update mileage.
• Keep vehicles clean and perform daily inspections prior to operation.
• Secure money, keys, fuel cards, devices, and monies collected.
• Pickup customer returns and complete driver return slips.
• Communicate issues or special needs to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance or damage to the store manager.
• Ensure fuel is topped off and secure vehicle at end of day.
• Clock in/out per company policy and perform other duties as assigned.
