Job summary

Drexel Building Supply in Kewaskum, Wisconsin, is seeking a Delivery Specialist to be the face of the company on the job site, delivering complete and accurate orders safely, on time, and with outstanding professionalism.

You will perform pre/post-trip inspections, secure loads, unload materials at the site, obtain PODs, and communicate delays to the Customer/Dispatcher while keeping vehicles in top condition. Drexel promotes ownership through ESOP and profit sharing, with comprehensive benefits.

• Safety & Compliance: Conduct daily pre-trip/post-trip inspections; operate vehicles safely and in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Load Security: Ensure the load is properly secured before leaving the yard and after each stop.
• Delivery: Follow the route; safely unload and place materials on the job site as directed by the customer.
• Documentation: Obtain clear Proof of Delivery (POD); note any customer refusals or returns.
• Communication: Communicate any delays or issues immediately to the Customer/Dispatcher.
• Jobsite Signs: Ensure jobsite signs are present in trucks and easily ready for deployment when needed.
• Vehicles: Maintain exterior and interior care of vehicles.
