Job summary

Drexel Building Supply, Inc. is seeking a Delivery Specialist to be the face of the company on the job site in Wisconsin. You will deliver complete orders safely and on time, ensuring accuracy and professional service for builders.

You will uphold DOT safety standards, secure loads, document PODs, and communicate any delays to customers and dispatchers, contributing to Drexel’s final-mile service excellence and ownership culture.

Responsibilities

• Safety & Compliance: Conduct daily pre-trip/post-trip inspections; operate vehicles safely and in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Load Security: Ensure the load is properly secured before leaving the yard and after each stop.
• Delivery: Follow the route; safely unload and place materials on the job site as directed by the customer.
• Documentation: Obtain clear Proof of Delivery (POD); note any customer refusals or returns.
• Communication: Communicate any delays or issues immediately to the Customer/Dispatcher.
• Jobsite Signs: Ensure jobsite signs are present in trucks and easily ready for deployment when needed.
• Vehicles: Maintain exterior and interior care of vehicles.
