Job summary

Drexel Building Supply Inc in Wisconsin is seeking a Delivery Specialist to be the face of the company on the job site, delivering complete orders safely, on time, with professionalism.

You will perform daily pre-trip/post-trip inspections, secure loads, unload at job sites, obtain PODs, and communicate delays to customers and dispatchers. The role emphasizes safety and customer service. Join a team-owned, community-driven company.

• Load Security: Ensure the load is properly secured before leaving the yard and after each stop.
• Delivery: Follow the route; safely unload and place materials on the job site as directed by the customer.
• Documentation: Obtain clear Proof of Delivery (POD); note any customer refusals or returns.
• Communication: Communicate any delays or issues immediately to the Customer/Dispatcher.
• Jobsite Signs: Ensure jobsite signs are present in trucks and easily ready for deployment when needed.
• Vehicles: Maintain exterior and interior care of vehicles.
