The Delivery Specialist will maintain and operate store vehicles to deliver parts and/or products to professional customers in a safe and efficient manner. This position will also collect money on C.O.D. deliveries and pick up customer returns.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers safely and efficiently.
2. Use delivery fleet management devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, update mileage, and perform vehicle inspections.
3. Keep vehicles clean, maintained, and complete daily inspections.
4. Secure vehicles, keys, fuel cards, hand-held devices, and collected monies at all times.
5. Pick up customer returns and complete driver return slips.
6. Communicate customer issues or needs to store management.
7. Report vehicle maintenance, accidents, or damages immediately.
8. Ensure fuel tanks are filled and secure vehicles at day's end.
9. Follow clock-in/out policies.
10. Perform additional duties such as customer service, stocking, merchandising, errands, and handling returns.
11. Assist customers and serve as cashier when needed.
12. Perform other assigned duties.

Skills, Education, Knowledge, Experience, and Abilities:

Required:

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Adaptability to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record meeting company standards (14/18-point system).
• Valid state driver’s license and driving eligibility.

Desired:

• Familiarity with automotive parts.
• Ability to operate light store equipment.
• Multilingual fluency, especially Spanish.
