Join to apply for the Delivery Specialist role at O'Reilly Auto Parts.

The Delivery Specialist will maintain and operate store vehicles to deliver parts and/or products to professional customers in a safe and efficient manner. This position will also collect money on C.O.D. deliveries and pick up customer returns.

Essential Job Functions

1. Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers safely and efficiently.
2. Use delivery fleet management devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, update mileage, and perform daily vehicle inspections.
3. Keep vehicles clean, maintained, and conduct daily inspections prior to use.
4. Secure vehicles, keys, fuel cards, devices, and collected monies at all times.
5. Pick up customer returns and fill out return slips.
6. Communicate customer issues or needs to store management.
7. Report vehicle issues or damage immediately.
8. Ensure fuel tanks are filled and secure vehicles at day's end.
9. Follow clock-in/out procedures as per company policy.
10. Perform additional duties such as customer service, stocking, merchandising, errands, and handling core returns.
11. Assist customers or serve as cashier when needed.

Skills, Education, Knowledge, and Experience

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Adaptability to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet company standards (14/18-point system).
• Legally required driver's license and eligibility to drive per company requirements.

Desired Skills

• Ability to operate light store equipment.
