Job description

The Delivery Specialist will operate store vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers, ensuring safety and efficiency. Responsibilities include collecting payments on C.O.D. deliveries and handling customer returns.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

1. Operate company vehicles safely to deliver parts and products.
2. Use delivery management devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, and conduct vehicle inspections.
3. Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of delivery vehicles, and report any issues.
4. Secure vehicles, keys, fuel cards, and collected monies at all times.
5. Handle customer returns and complete necessary documentation.
6. Communicate customer needs or problems to management.
7. Report vehicle maintenance or damage immediately.
8. Ensure vehicles are fueled and secured at day's end.
9. Follow company policies for clocking in/out.
10. Perform additional duties such as customer service, stocking, merchandising, and errands as assigned.
11. Assist customers, serve as cashier, or support merchandising when needed.

REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license meeting company standards.
• Familiarity with automotive parts and ability to operate store equipment.
• Fluency in multiple languages, with Spanish highly preferred.
