Compensation Pay Range
$16.66 - $23.00
The actual hourly rate will be at least the minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation may include performance-based bonuses, premiums based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed, and multiple premiums if applicable.

The Delivery Specialist will operate store vehicles to deliver parts and/or products to professional customers safely and efficiently. Responsibilities also include collecting money on C.O.D. deliveries and handling customer returns.

Essential Job Functions

1. Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products safely and efficiently.
2. Use delivery fleet management devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, update vehicle mileage, and perform daily vehicle inspections.
3. Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of vehicles, and complete daily inspections.
4. Secure delivery vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet credit cards, hand-held devices, and collected monies at all times.
5. Pick up customer returns and complete driver return slips.
6. Communicate customer issues or needs to store management.
7. Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damages immediately.
8. Ensure fuel tanks are filled, and vehicles are locked and secured at day's end.
9. Clock in/out according to company policy.
10. Perform additional duties such as customer service, stocking, merchandising, errands, and handling core returns as assigned.
11. Occasionally assist customers, serve as cashier, or support merchandising when needed.

Skills/Education/Knowledge/Experience/Abilities

Required:

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Adaptability to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record meeting company standards (14/18-point system).
• Valid state driver’s license and compliance with company driving requirements.

Desired:

• Familiarity with automotive parts.
• Ability to operate light store equipment.
• Fluency in multiple languages, especially Spanish.
