Job summary

Rehrig Pacific Company, Inc. is seeking a Category Manager to own the category strategy and commercialization for Delivery Solutions.

You will translate market, customer, and financial insights into growth plans and work with Sales, Marketing, NPD, and operations to shape product positioning and customer adoption. You will collaborate across functions to drive profitable growth, build scalable tools, and provide timely updates on market conditions and category performance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in category management, product management, product development, commercialization, or solution selling.
• Strong business acumen with experience using market, customer, competitive, pricing, and financial data to guide decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority, build cross-functional relationships, and communicate effectively with Sales, Marketing, NPD, Operations, and leadership stakeholders.
• Strong presentation, written communication, negotiation, and sales-enablement skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze market trends, customer needs, competitive activity, pricing, adoption patterns and internal performance to inform category decisions and Delivery Solutions growth priorities.
• Provide insights for planning, business reviews, pipeline discussions, product strategy, supplier selection, negotiation support, and investments.
• Develop benchmarks to identify category opportunities, risks, and actions for better market position and returns.
• Deliver timely updates to Sales and leadership on competitor movement, industry conditions, and category performance.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, NPD, Operations to align category plans and commercialization activities.
