Job summary

Rehrig Pacific Company seeks a Material Handling Category Manager to own category strategy and commercialization support for Delivery Solutions. You will translate market, customer, competitor, and financial insights into actionable growth plans and partner with Sales, Marketing, NPD, and operations to shape positioning and adoption.

Roll involves building scalable tools, supporting profitable growth, and delivering timely updates on competitor activity and industry conditions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in category management, product management, product development, commercialization, or solution selling.
• Strong business acumen with experience using market, customer, competitive, pricing, and financial data to guide decisions.
• Ability to influence without direct authority and communicate with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong presentation, written communication, negotiation, and sales-enablement skills.
• Ability to travel up to 50% by airplane.
• Ability to lift product samples up to 40 lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Analyze market trends, customer needs, pricing, adoption patterns, and internal performance to inform category decisions and growth priorities.
• Provide insights for planning, pipeline discussions, product strategy, supplier selection, and investment decisions.
• Develop benchmarks to identify opportunities, risks, and actions to improve market position and returns.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, NPD, Operations to align category plans and deployment support.
• Drive quarterly planning, forecasting, and performance updates with leaders to track revenue, margin, adoption, and ROI.
